Industrias Electro Químicas is also a manufacturer of various specialized zinc items designed for the battery industry.
Among these, perhaps IEQSA’s most world renowned product is Zinc Calots or Zinc Slugs used in the manufacture of cans for Dry Cell Batteries. This is an item which we already supply on a regular basis to battery makers in 25 countries, of all continents. Our zinc calots are manufactured as per the alloys, dimensions and hardness characteristics indicated by each customer. We have available a full range of zinc calots, from R-25 to R-03, round or hexagonal, with or without lubrication, in Cadmium and Cadmium-free alloys.
IEQSA also produces special rolled zinc strips for electrochemical use.
